CBSE KVS / NVS Tier-II Result 2025

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) conducted the KVS and NVS Teaching & Non-Teaching Recruitment 2025 for a total of 15,762 vacancies, including 9,921 posts in Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS) and 5,841 posts in Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti (NVS). The recruitment included various posts such as PGT, TGT, PRT, Principal, Vice Principal, Assistant Commissioner, Junior Secretariat Assistant, Stenographer, Lab Attendant and other non-teaching positions. The application process was conducted from 14 November 2025 to 11 December 2025, followed by Tier-I and Tier-II examinations. As per the latest update, the Tier-II Result has been released on 17 August 2026. Candidates who appeared in the examination can check their result and other recruitment-related updates through the official CBSE website.

CBSE KVS / NVS Educational Qualification
  • PRT: Generally requires 10+2 with the prescribed teacher-training qualification such as D.El.Ed./B.El.Ed. along with CTET qualification.
  • TGT: Requires a relevant Bachelor’s Degree with the prescribed teaching qualification and CTET, wherever applicable.
  • PGT: Requires a relevant Master’s Degree along with the required B.Ed. qualification.
  • Principal / Vice Principal: Requires the prescribed postgraduate qualification, B.Ed. and relevant teaching/administrative experience.
  • Non-Teaching Posts: Educational qualifications differ by post and may range from 10+2 to graduation or other specialized qualifications.
CBSE KVS / NVS Selection Process
  • Tier-I Examination – Candidates first appear for the preliminary/qualifying examination.
  • Tier-II Examination – Shortlisted candidates appear for the post-specific Tier-II examination.
  • Interview / Skill Test – Applicable posts may require an interview, skill test, typing test or other prescribed assessment.
  • Document Verification – Shortlisted candidates must provide their original educational and other required documents.
  • Medical Examination – Candidates may be required to undergo a medical examination before final appointment.
  • Final Selection – The final merit list is prepared according to the applicable recruitment rules and post-wise selection criteria.
How to Check CBSE KVS / NVS Tier-II Result
Candidates can check their examination result by following these simple steps:

  • Visit the official website of the respective examination authority.
  • Open the Latest Updates / Results / Recruitment section.
  • Click on the link “Result” related to your examination.
  • Enter the required details such as Roll Number, Registration Number, Date of Birth or Password, if required.
  • Click on the Submit / Login button.
  • Your result or scorecard will appear on the screen.
  • Check your marks, qualifying status and other details carefully.
  • Download and save the result PDF/scorecard for future reference.
  • Take a printout of the result if required for the next stage of the recruitment process.
