Jal Jeevan Mission Completes 7 Years

Jal Jeevan Mission (JJM) completed seven years on 15 August 2026. Rural tap-water coverage has increased from 16.7% at the launch to over 82%, with more than 15.91 crore rural households now having tap connections.
