World Humanitarian Day 2026
World Humanitarian Day is observed every year on 19 August to honour humanitarian workers who provide life-saving assistance and protection to people affected by conflicts, disasters and other crises. The day also highlights the need to protect humanitarian personnel and uphold International Humanitarian Law. The 2026 campaign uses the slogan #ActForHumanity.
